Metric Distributions

1 min read
Updated 27 Jul 2026

The Metric Distributions report shows how scores spread across the full 1–10 scale for each attribute, not just the average. Two attributes can share the same average but have very different distributions, with one consistently high, the other propped up by a concentration of 10s offsetting low scores.

Reading the Table

  • Heavy concentration in 9 and 10 indicates a strong, consistent experience
  • More responses in 7 and 8 suggest customers are satisfied but not highly enthusiastic
  • Growth in 1 through 6 signals rising friction and warrants a closer look at the comments

Use Total Count to gauge reliability. Toggle Distribution Roll-Up to group scores into 1–6 (lower), 7–8 (mid-range), and 9–10 (top-box), mirroring the grouping logic used in NPS analysis.
