Collecting Only Verified Feedback

Bizrate Insights is a verified shopper feedback platform. Rather than accepting open public submissions, it collects feedback from real customer interactions at defined points in the shopping journey. This methodology ensures that 100% of the reviews collected are legitimate and come from your customers, because feedback is gathered on-site at the time of interaction.

Here’s how it works:

  • Pre-Purchase Feedback: The survey invitation appears just before a visitor leaves your site.
  • Post-purchase Feedback: The invitation appears on the order confirmation page, with a follow-up emailed to respondents after delivery.

For customers who complete a purchase but don’t take the survey at checkout, you can share their email address and Order ID, and Bizrate will invite them by email.

This invited-feedback model differs from open review platforms, where any consumer can log in and post about a business without a verified transaction. Open submissions tend to over-represent customers seeking a place to complain, which skews a review profile toward negative sentiment that doesn’t reflect the full customer base. Because every Bizrate review is tied to a verified interaction, brands receive balanced responses across the purchase and delivery experience, and the review profile reflects the actual distribution of customer experiences, not just the loudest ones.
