Bizrate Insights’ Shopify ratings and reviews app (Bizrate Insights Reviews) seamlessly collects customer feedback during the Shopify checkout experience when extensibility is enabled.
This guide covers the requirements and setup instructions.
Requirements:
Your thank you page has been upgraded to Checkout Extensibility.
You have your Bizrate Merchant Identification Number (MID) handy.
The Online Buyer Feedback option for the app has been enabled.
Obtain a Merchant ID (MID)
To begin displaying reviews through Bizrate Insights Reviews App, you will need to obtain a Merchant ID (MID), add the app to your site, and select the features you would like to enable to begin collecting feedback.

App Setup Instructions:
Adding the Bizrate Insights Reviews app to your site a. From your store’s admin page, click on “Apps” b. Search for “Bizrate Insights Reviews” c. Click on the app d. Click “Install”
Selecting your features a. Online Buyer Feedback – The Online Buyer Survey covers the end-to-end shopping experience by engaging customers at two critical points: the point of sale and post-fulfillment. This helps ensure feedback is coming from buyers right when their experiences are top of mind.
b. Site Abandonment – The Site Abandonment Survey engages customers as they’re about to exit and gives retailers tools to save the sale.

Add Survey to Thank You Page:
From your store’s admin screen, click Settings in the bottom left.
Select Checkout from the options on the left.
In the Configurations section, select Customize.
Select Thank you from the drop-down at the top center of the page.
Ensure you are on the Sections tab on the left side of the page.
Under Order details, click Add app block and choose Bizrate Insights Reviews.
You will see the Bizrate Insights Reviews app added to the Order Details section. The invitation will be displayed on the right, just below the confirmation number.
