Publishing Customer Comments

Bizrate Insights offers a variety of free products that you can use to track and analyze your customer comments, including the Comment Classifier, Quick Response and Vital Signs. Retailers often ask if they are allowed to publish customer comments on their site or in marketing materials, and the answer is yes – as long as our Advertising and PR Guidelines are adhered to (which ensure customer privacy). We’ve posted the Guidelines here for your reference. Check out pages 7 and 8 for specific details about publishing merchant and product reviews. This is a great way to publicize customer feedback on areas such as your homepage, checkout pages or specific testimonial pages.

  1. Is there anyway that I can link from my website to the customer comments and ratings to inspire confidence in the website for potential buyers? Or do I need to publish them myself?

As a part of our Customer Certified program we offer the Customer Certified Medal which is a custom seal unique to your business that links back to your Customer Reviews page on Bizrate.com. To access the HTML code for the Customer Certified Medal simply log in the merchant site at http://merchant.shopzilla.com and proceed to the “Customer Feedback & Ratings” tab and click on “Customer Certified Medal”. Once on the Customer Certified Medal page, if the medal is not displayed it means you are not currently Customer Certified. To qualify for Customer Certified status you must meet the following qualifications:

      • Actively serve the Point-Of-Sale survey.
      • Have 20 fulfillment surveys during the past 90 days
      • Maintain scores of at least 6.0 on the following 5 ratings metrics:

      • Overall rating
      • Would shop here again
      • On-time delivery
      • Customer support
      • Product met expectations
